About Us | Fitness

SPORTSMED·SA Fitness is a service provided within the Physiotherapy Division. It aims to promote health, fitness and general well being to the entire population, regardless of age or physical capability.

The experienced and qualified fitness professionals work in conjunction with the physiotherapists and sports doctors to provide a personal service, tailored to the individual’s needs. Our gyms are located at our Stepney and Morphett Vale clinics and are well equipped with weight training and cardio equipment. They also provide specialist rehabilitation equipment for those needing post-operative exercise programmes or specific remedial training.

You don't have to be an elite athlete to join the SPORTSMED·SA Gym. With a friendly environment that’s never over-crowded, everyone can enjoy exercise there.

Fitness testing and counselling
Personalised gym programmes and updates
Post rehabilitation fitness
Gym memberships

Visiting the gym

It is not necessary for private clients to have a referral for gym memberships or for sessions with a gym consultant. Workcover and Third Party patients need a referral from their GP or physiotherapist and must have prior approval from their case manager. In the event of a claim not being accepted the client is personally responsible for any costs incurred.
