Remedial and sports massage involves the manual manipulation of soft tissues to relieve muscular aches, pains and tension. SPORTSMED·SA massage therapists work within a team of sports medicine practitioners to provide total care, whether it is for personal well being, rehabilitation, or to enhance sports performance. If further assessment or treatment is required, a referral will be made to an appropriate practitioner.

Making and Attending an Appointment

Massage is available at our Stepney, Morphett Vale, Henley Beach Blackwood and Goodwood branches in ½ hour or full hour blocks. Appointments can be made at reception of the the relevant branch.

Patients with private health cover do not need a referral for a massage.

Workcover patients need a referral and prior approval from their case manager BEFORE receiving a massage. In the event of a claim not being accepted the client is personally responsible for any costs incurred. Third Party patients must pay for their consultation on the day and claim back through their insurer.

Fees and Charges

SPORTSMED·SA massage therapists are registered with private health insurers and rebates will apply for the relevant funds. Gift vouchers are available for purchase for either ½ hour or 1 hour massages.
