Our general practitioners and sports doctors specialise in the prevention, treatment and management of medical conditions affecting people and families of all ages. They are able to consult on short-term acute illnesses, as well as chronic, long-term conditions such as arthritis, diabetes and heart disease. Our general practitioners encourage health assessments and preventative care planning together with health education to patients.
Other areas of interest among our GPs include a range of women’s health issues, men’s health and asthma management. Our doctors also strongly support routine childhood immunisation and are equipped to administer the full range of childhood vaccines.
For patients on multiple or complicated medications, we may arrange a government-funded home medication review by an accredited pharmacist to ensure the safe and effective use of personal medications in the home.
In terms of patient cases that may exceed the scope of our primary care service, we have established contacts with a variety of specialist colleagues to whom referral can easily be arranged.
Having trained as general practitioners before specialising in sports medicine, our sports doctors are also experienced in the prevention, treatment and management of bone, joint, muscle, ligament, tendon, nerve and arthritis pain, injuries and conditions.
Considered leaders in sports medicine, our sports doctors undertake ongoing professional development with the latest research and techniques, and attend regular education seminars for the benefit of patients.
