We are passionate and very good at what we do. We put the patient at the core of every business and clinical decision we make. If you are looking for a job, then we are not for you. But, if you are looking for a career that will challenge you, develop you and reward you then read on …
At sportsmed, we don’t just recognise our people as being equally important as our patients, we actually demonstrate this by providing a workplace that is fair, united, free from discrimination and genuinely strives to provide our people with a healthy balance between their home life and work life. A workplace that values relationships, diversity, honesty and equal treatment regardless of role and status. Then there are our surgeons – some of the most highly regarded and recognised experts in their chosen field. At sportsmed, you get to work closely with our surgeons and develop a working relationship built on mutual trust and respect.
We place significant importance on caring for your mental and physical wellbeing. We have this covered by providing free confidential counselling, access to wellbeing workshops, mental health first aid training (for eligible staff), onsite coffee shop, healthy meals prepared by our onsite catering team and much more.
If you can see yourself on the sportsmed team and your values are aligned with ours, then we would love to hear from you. Applications should be forwarded to firstname.lastname@example.org and addressed to the relevant manager:

- Paula Hill, Executive Manager – People and Culture (all administration)
While we receive a significant number of secondary and tertiary education requests, unfortunately due to the privacy and confidentiality of our patients we are unable to assist students with work experience placements.
Our managers, team leaders and staff worked closely to develop the ‘Agreed Non-Negotiable Behaviours’ for sportsmed. These behaviours encourage all staff to get “on the bus” to drive and shape a positive future for sportsmed and our patients.
We are sportsmed United and we exist to create the best patient care and experience.
We have direct, genuine conversations at right time and place.
We reward and challenge behaviours.
We have a positive attitude and enjoy what we do.
We put patients first.
We walk the talk.
We strive for individual and organisational excellence.
We are open to ideas and willing to change.
We respect, trust, value and support each other regardless of department and role:
- Make time for each other;
- Celebrate and promote successes;
- Accept group ideas;
- Think of others before self.
