A number of our specialists are also trained to use innovative treatment technology including the latest in robotic surgery technology such as the CORI Surgical System and the Mako SmartRobotics™, 3D software, computer-navigated surgery and the ground-breaking Arthrex 4K arthroscopic imaging system to assist in minimally invasive joint surgery.
Performing over 8,000 procedures every year, our surgeons are supported by our experienced nursing staff, who are highly trained in orthopaedic care and treatment. Advanced life support trained registered nurses are available 24/7 for the detection, assessment and care of any deteriorating patients.
Once your operation is complete, you will begin the recovery process with rehabilitation exercises. If required, you may have an inpatient physiotherapist consultation. The physiotherapist will explain to you the exercises you are required to undertake to ensure recovery is successful, and arrange for any aids to be supplied such as walking frame or crutches.
