A minute with John Camens

We asked John, a self-proclaimed “long-haired lout in ’74” (see photo below) to give us an insight into what makes a co-founding sportsmed Physiotherapist tick!

Most elite sporting achievement:
I ran the City to Bay in 1979 in 45.35′ and came 406th.

Musical talent:
I don’t have any….forbidden to even whistle at home.

Most famous person I have met:
Mmmmm I have shaken hands with John Howard and Prince Edward.

Retirement plans:
Lots but my first task is to produce a book “Scotch College Adelaide through the Camera Lens 1919-2019”

Philosophy on life:
You live for about 960 months so make the most of it remembering you can rest as much as you like when you die.

Things you don’t know about me:
My twin brother and I appeared on a TV Program appearing on Channel 7 in about 1971 called “Tell the Truth” hosted by Alec Macaskill.
