sportsmed is committed to the health and safety of our patients, our team and our community.

Based on the current move to living with COVID, other hospitals change in procedure, and low detection rates. Our process for Rapid Antigen Testing is changing.

Commencing Monday the 13th of February, we will:
  • Cease Rapid Antigen Testing patients on admission.
  • Continue to request patients undertake a Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) the day prior to admission.
  • RAT patients on admission if they present with symptoms.
  • RAT patients if they become symptomatic during their stay.
