Dr Angela Alder-Price is an orthopaedic surgeon with sub-specialist expertise in shoulder, elbow, wrist and hand surgery.

Dr Angela Alder-Price is an orthopaedic surgeon with sub-specialist expertise in shoulder, elbow, wrist and hand surgery.

Dr Alder-Price graduated from the University of Adelaide in 2011 and undertook training in Orthopaedic surgery in hospitals across South Australia and Victoria. After becoming a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and the Australian Orthopaedic Association in 2020, she completed an Upper Limb Fellowship in Geelong.

Dr Alder-Price is a Senior Clinical Lecturer at Adelaide University and served as the Director of Orthopaedic Training for the Northern Adelaide Local Health Network from 2023 to 2026. She has been recognised with numerous research awards and scholarships and currently sits on the Shoulder and Elbow Society of Australia (SESA) Executive.

A GP referral is required to make an appointment with Dr Alder-Price.

  • Comprehensive care of wrist conditions, including traumatic and degenerative disorders, arthritis, and wrist arthroscopy
  • Treatment of finger and thumb arthritis, and soft tissue pathologies including trigger finger, Dupuytren’s disease and Rheumatoid hand.
  • Compressive upper limb neuropathies including carpal tunnel syndrome and ulnar nerve pathology.
  • Management of fractures, dislocations, and sporting injuries of the upper limb
